Liberty Science Center
One place that has super fun exhibits, and where you might learn something new, is the Liberty Science Center! For around $31 per ticket, you can go see amazing science exhibits that bring fun to the whole family. They offer different experiences for all ages, including “Daniel Tigers Neighborhood: A Grr-ific Exhibit”, “Extreme Machines”, and “LSC After Dark”. It’s located in Jersey City and has a great view of New York City!
Lakota Wolf Preserve
Another place that has amazing exhibits to experience is the Lakota Wolf Preserve! This is a non-profit organization that educates everyone on wolves, bobcats, foxes, and lynx. Tickets are about $18. It’s located in Delaware Water Gap in Warren County, NJ. They are the largest natural habitat reserve in the Northeastern United States. They have a whole range of educational tours and photography sessions. Make sure to order your tickets in advance, though! They fill up quickly!
Stirling Hotel
Finally, to finish off your day of adventures, you’ll need somewhere to go eat! The Sterling Hotel, which is located in Stirling, NJ, has a lot to offer. With a bar, indoor and outdoor seating, plus a smokehouse, this place has something for everyone! Their burgers are killer, grilled to perfection. (In my opinion at least!) The smokehouse offers southern-style BBQ, but it’s only open in the warmer months. The bar offers both virgin and non-virgin drinks, so there is something for all ages. There is so much more on the menu, including soups, pizza, different meats, and so much more!
