Tired of the weather we’re in? Looking for an unforgettable getaway this summer? Do you crave that clear as glass ocean water where the water is as calm, and you can glance at the swimming creatures around you? Well, if this sounds like you, then you are in luck! I am about to hook you up with the best oceans you’ve ever seen. You might even love one of them so much that you will pack your bags today and escape this cold weather!
Drivable Locations
Flights are quite expensive nowadays; they can cost a lot of money, maybe even just as much as the vacation itself. Fortunately, there are beaches that are within a driving distance, where you can get the same amount of satisfaction as a faraway destination.
- Ocean City, Maryland: This location is stunning, the waters are pretty clear, and it is very family-friendly. Are you part of a family with younger siblings, or do you more enjoy lots of activities to do while on vacation? Well, you are in luck. Ocean City brings you both relaxation and family fun, so you don’t have to choose between the two. Here, they have a large boardwalk and lots to do and see. If you stay here, you will never find yourself bored and will never want to leave. The drive from Morristown to Ocean City is about 4 hours. Not to mention that you will have so much fun without splurging all of your money on one vacation.
- Island Beach State Park: Not a fan of long car rides? That’s okay because Island Beach State Park is only an hour drive away. If you have younger siblings who can’t sit still, then this is for you. You get a lovely beach vacation without having an eternity of, “Are we there yet?” You will get to experience an amazing beach without even leaving New Jersey! Perfect if you want to stay close to home. Just like Ocean City, it is family-friendly and is not costly.
Affordable Locations
Do you love the idea of going away to paradise? The excitement of waking up to go to the airport and taking a flight to reach a jaw-dropping destination? However, as great as it is, you always find yourself spending much more money than intended, not including the flight cost. Well, here are a couple of places that you can fly to, but don’t cost an arm and a leg.
- Navarre Beach, FL: This is exactly what you are looking for. The flight is about three hours long, and you won’t regret the stay. According to Florida Smart, there are “clear waters on calmer days.” You will get that luxurious, clear water, without even leaving America. The beach is so nice that you might not want to book your family a flight back home. Nothing is better than being in paradise without going over the budget.
- Myrtle Beach, SC: To get to Myrtle Beach, the flight will be a little under two hours. Once you arrive, you will notice that the water is super clear. This location is a little more expensive than the others mentioned previously, but it is worth every penny. It is such a family-friendly location. There are so many different attractions, and there is a boardwalk.
Clearest Water
Do you crave the best-of-the-best clear ocean water? Are you are eager to know where you can find that picture-perfect, crystal-clear ocean water? If you love ocean water as clear as Gatorade, here is an introduction to some of the clearest ocean water you can find in the whole world!
- Turks and Cacios: This is one of my personal favorite locations. I went here once for vacation, and no other ocean water has topped it. Imagine stepping into an ocean where you can see all the little creatures below you. A school of fish surrounds you and makes little ripples in the water. Are you not much of a swimmer and find that shelling is more your thing? One of the best parts about Turks and Caicos is the amazing conch shells that this destination is known for. If you have ever seen a conch shell before, you know that they are one of the most beautiful shells. The flight is a little under four hours. It is a little bit expensive, but from personal experience, I couldn’t find any other option that could top it.
- Bahamas: To get to the Bahamas, the flight duration will be three hours. If you are someone who is scared of the ocean, the Bahamas is just for you. The water is so clear that you can see your feet and won’t have to question what is underneath you. The pricing for the Bahamas depends on where you stay. A fun destination here is Pig Beach. At this beach, you can experience a beach with lots of pigs surrounding you. This is a unique experience that is not something you would see often, so why not try it?
- Aruba: To get to Aruba, the flight is a little over four hours. According to Aruba.com, it has “picture-perfect weather and natural treasures.” Aruba offers a relaxing stay with so many wonderful sights around you. The pricing is on the high end, but when you see the waters, your stay will be worth it. It is hard to say no to this place! It is almost like the ocean acts like a magnet and is pulling you into a fun vacation. If you have ever seen any photos, you know that the water is just like looking through a mirror; crystal clear.
- Maldives: If you are hoping to vacation here, the pricing for the Maldives ranges from affordable to expensive, depending on the place you stay. The Maldives is 18-20 hours away for a direct flight from New Jersey to the Maldives. It is a long flight, but it will be all worthwhile once you’ve landed. Here, there is so much to enjoy and do. It may be far away; however, it is put on the list for a reason. It is no joke how pretty the waters are there.
I hope you start looking into one of these locations because all of these are amazing. There is no excuse not to. They are all stunning with many things to do. Whether you are a stay-up-late and party person, or a lie-on-the-beach-all-day person who does nothing except worry about the tide, you should look into one of these places. There are a variety of places to choose from, nearby, faraway, affordable to expensive, relaxing and calm, family-friendly, and fun. There is a place for anyone all different personalities and families. There has to be one for you. So, let’s all make it through the rest of the school year, and then we can all finally pack our bags and leave to get away, and relax on an amazing vacation!
