Step right up and get ready for a spectacular event! We are thrilled to announce the premiere of SpongeBob The Musical. Join us for this exciting live performance on Friday, March 6th, at 7 PM, and don’t miss out on our show on Saturday, March 7th, at 7 PM either! This bright musical Broadway adaptation will bring your favorite underwater characters, such as Squidward and Plankton, to life in a fun experience that you shouldn’t miss. Cast
There were so many talented people trying out for the roles in the musical. These talented folks include Miles Schmidt as SpongeBob, John Vuotto as Patrick, and Lexi Gulish as Squidward. Sandy will be played by Brianna Gumpper, and Mr. Krabs will be played by Omar White. Elsie Gonzalez will be playing Plankton, while Pearl will be played by Dina Varghese. Karen will be played by Olivia Plitt, and Patchy will be played by Sage McLaughlin. Perch Perkins will be played by Nolan Hong. The Mayor will be played by Kaylee Worts, and Larry will be played by Daniel Venedam. Mrs. Puff will be acted out by Harper Purdy, and Old Man/Grandma Jenkins will be played by Mischa.
More of the amazing cast include Rohan Beatty, Ryan Davis, Raf Zayas, Taalia Crowley, Ella Fritschie, and Gaia Meeireles. Zoie Chan, Mary Ortmanis, Levi Willis, Silas Scott, Ari Fineman, Isabella Scibetta, Liv Kenny, Jason Beslow, Ellia DeSantis, Josiah Bryant, Masie Taub, Liliana Lembo-Cape, Ethan Town, Ainsleigh Gerhard, Fiona Lipnick, Adrianna Restrepo, Shannon Burke, Ava Weryk, Daniella Hirsch, and Arianna Cologna will also be in the musical. And last but not least, Evangeline Meyer, Lillie White, Evelyn Ross, Audrey Lenz, Siena Carlson, Eleora Moseley, Wren Ferguson, Nadia Lane, Aaron Strassberg, and Athena Karambelas will be partaking in the musical. Make sure you give the amazing cast an extra round of applause, thanks to the multiple times it takes to memorize a scene and perfect it. There are quite a lot of pages of script!
Crew
You won’t believe the talented people who are supporting this musical behind the scenes. From props and costume creators who will be making the iconic Krabby Patties and SpongeBob’s hat, to stage managers who will make sure everything is running smoothly, there are so many people involved. These folks include: Juliana Heusel, Bailey Hoehl, Saria Pinckney, Deven Slaughter, Christepher Trabachino, Kayla Zhang, Jacob Strassberg, Denisa Fritschie, and Ronan Chowdhury. Ella Ferrer, Grace Ferrer, Leo Escobar, Riley Havers, Michael Calderisi, Stella Larson, Kiana Cabeera, Gabriella Aiello, Vincent Marcelo, Nyx Masterson, and Erick Mesias will also help. David Sciaino, Ayla Brucker, Charlie Brucker, Ryan Diaz, Carlos Argenal, Jack Schmidt, Gia Varghese, Lena Gordan, Ben Wolber, Amanda Jaramillo, Landon Zimin, Jack Wauters, Alexandria Hamalova, Aleaxa Araya, Addison Fenner, Riley Hitchcoff, Gabriella Mound, Reagan Smith, and Chloe Cregan will be in the crew section. There is also lighting, which will help set the scene, and the set building, which will really bring Bikini Bottom to life.
Songs
The upcoming show stacks a fantastic lineup of hit songs, with each of these songs comes a spectacular dance number. Some highlighted tracks include “Best Day Ever” and “Daddy Knows Best”. Additionally, there are several fan-favorite songs that were revealed in a Nickelodeon poll conducted in 2019. Standouts from that list include “Bikini Bottom Day” and “BFF,” which have captured the hearts of many viewers. Personally, one of my favorites is “Chop To The Top,” a song that is sung by my personal favorite character, Sandy.
I am super excited about this upcoming musical and can’t wait to see the entire process that transforms the idea into a reality. It’s always fascinating to witness the dedication and creativity that the cast and crew put into their work. I don’t doubt that they will pour their hearts and souls into every rehearsal and performance. So, make sure to save the dates: March 6th and 7th, 2026!
