In Northeast Pennsylvania, the Poconos are only minutes away across from the state line. This amazing route will provide rugged, harsh, and beautiful scenery. In the Poconos, you can see forests, peaks, lakes, and valleys. There are many resorts such as ski runs, water parks, and waterfalls.
Secondly, there is the spectacular Niagara Falls which borders New York and Ontario, Canada. This is only about 6 hours from New Jersey. Niagara Falls is about 12,000 years old! Easily, take out your camera or phone and take pictures that can create memories that can last a lifetime. Niagara Falls is one of the most popular places to visit. That is just one other way to spend your Spring Break.
Are you a fan of baseball? If you are… well, this New York attraction is right up your alley. Cooperstown (Central New York) has inspiring art galleries, outdoor music, and the famous National Baseball Hall of Fame. Then, there is Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This can sound like a trip back to Social Studies class, but actually, it is entertaining. This may seem boring but trust me, you’ll like it.
Finally, there is Big Kahuna’s in West Berlin. Parents are always so overwhelmed during spring break so we kids can help out. Some of the places mentioned are in a range of 1- to 5-hour drive, which is easily within driving distance. There are so many different ways to spend your Spring Break vacation. It may be late but it’s better than doing nothing. These examples are just some of the many out there, but there are so many more. Not everyone needs to hop on a plane to enjoy a trip somewhere, it could easily be here in New Jersey and still have the same amount of fun. Get ready to pack up your clothes and hit the road!
