Here are three mouth-watering recipes for a simple, fresh, and fruity snack spotlighting the glorious strawberry!
Strawberry Cucumber salad
For my healthy people, a strawberry cucumber salad! This salad combines the clean taste of cucumbers, with the sweet tang of strawberries. To start, gather your ingredients. You will need about one box of strawberries, 2-3 cucumbers, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and honey (optional).
The first step is to slice the produce. Then peel the cucumbers and cut both into thin slices and put into a medium-sized bowl. Squeeze your lemon juice into the bowl and jumble the ingredients together. For an extra pang of flavor, drizzle honey, agave, oil, or balsamic vinegar on the salad, and add a pinch of salt and pepper. For an extra twist, add basil for an herb flavor. This sweet and salty dish will explode your tastebuds! Trust me when I say this is a must-try recipe.
Strawberry Lemonade
If you’re looking for a simple treat, I have the perfect drink! An easy strawberry lemonade! Let’s gather our ingredients. You will need one cup of fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped; ½ lemon juice; ¼ sugar; 2 cups of cold water; and ice cubes.
In a blender, add the strawberries. Blend until smooth. The second step is to add the sugar and lemon juice until fully combined. Next, combine the puree and lemonade in a serving pitcher of your choice, and add the water. Mix all ingredients into one drink and serve over the ice. You can add more sugar or water if it is too sweet or not sweet enough. This is the perfect beverage if you’re looking for a fun, tasty drink to sip on!
Strawberry Chia Popsicles
The last recipe is chilly strawberry chia seed popsicles. These fruity pops with a slight crunch are not too sweet and are super simple. You have to gather your ingredients so let’s get into it! You’ll need two cups of fresh or frozen strawberries, ½ cup of coconut water or juice, 2 teaspoons of chia seeds, and 1-2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup.
