Ever since 1992, smartphones have changed people’s lives and everything they do. They’ve been modified and improved. Almost everyone has one now. However, the changes haven’t ended yet. Samsung is getting ready to develop a 2-in-1 foldable phone/tablet. Introducing, the Samsung Galaxy Fold!

To start, Samsung has created Samsung Galaxies for over ten years now and they are now planning to take smartphones to the next level by creating a foldable tablet that can turn into a smartphone. The picture will give better visualization of how it looks. All it takes if one fold to turn the tablet into a smart phone. The Samsung Galaxy Fold is for users who want to be able to have a tablet that is able to fit in their pocket. Samsung claims, “…we didn’t just change the shape of the phone. We changed the shape of tomorrow”(www.samsung.com).

    The features of this technology are abundant. When opening the phone to tablet size, it opens to have a length of 7.3 inches. The smartphone size holds a length of 4.6 inches long. The Samsung Galaxy Fold has six different cameras: three on the back, one on the front, and two on the inside. It will hold 512 GB of storage in total, which is more than any usual phone has today. As you can see, this phone is packed with a lot of awesome attributes. Though Samsung has not released the Fold’s battery life, it has stated that it’s built to last. The price for the Samsung Galaxy Fold is planned for an expensive price range of $1,980. Samsung claims that since there are a tablet and a smartphone both in it, it makes sense to have a price that high. This phone will be released on April 26th, so it will be here soon! Plus, usual phones today have a 4G internet connection, but the Samsung Galaxy Fold is going to be one of the first phones with a 5G internet connection through a phone. Companies like Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T won’t be selling this phone because it’s so expensive.

So there you have it, as Samsung creates their new phone, they are taking phones to the next level. The Samsung Galaxy Fold is changing all phones for the future and it’s only going to get more advanced from here.
