Today, we are reviewing one of the best sports games out right now: EA FC 24! This game is amazing because of what players can do offline and online.
In EA FC24, there’s a lot to do when playing offline. The two biggest game modes available are Career mode and Manager mode. In Career mode, gamers play as a player in a football club, choosing which division or club to play in, as well as determine player characteristics. After setup, the game starts to teach its functionalities. In an attacking role, players can decide how to shoot the ball, whether to lob it, a light pass, or a strong blast right into the goal. As a defensive player, using tackles and other forms of stealing the ball will prevent being scored on. As a goalkeeper, the main task is to prevent the other team from scoring, so it’s possible to grab the ball with the character’s hands and kick it to the other side when it’s in possession. In manager mode, players run a club and need to purchase players and make deals, as well as talk with the players and make decisions that will determine the season’s success.
In contrast, online play is different. The biggest mode is the Ultimate Team, where gamers play with a team against other players. To build the team, FC coins are used to open packs and unlock new players. Players unlock FC coins by doing ultimate team matches and winning. Players are unlocked to join a team. Exchanging players for certain rewards through Squad Building Challenges (or SBC) is also a possibility, in which a team is created with certain conditions and traded for either a player pack or another amenity. However, this is quite challenging to do. While the game begins slowly, once users get more players, they can unlock even more players, getting better rewards!
As an avid player, I enjoy this game because it has many options for people to play offline and online. On offline mode, players can try out their own stories, and online, users can play with others collaboratively to build a good team.
In conclusion, this is a great game that I would recommend to any sports fan who wants to understand what it’s like to be one of the players. The only flaw is that in online play, Ultimate Teams can take time, forcing a slower start. Other than that, I would give this game a solid 9.7/10 stars. Give it a try next time you choose to play a game!
