Pulled Pork Sandwiches
A pulled pork sandwich is a delicious dish satisfying any meat lover. This is scrumptious and juicy and anyone who has been to a barbecue has loved it.
Ingredients & Materials:
- A smoker
- Pork Shoulder
- Oak Wood
- BBQ Rub- Please see below for the recipe
- Rolls
- BBQ Sauce
Directions:
Preheat the smoker to 225°. While the smoker is preheating to 225° combine the rub in a bowl for the pork shoulder.
BBQ Rub Recipe
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup salt
- ½ cup cumin
- ½ cup paprika
- ½ cup chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
Caesar Salad
A healthy side dish to go along with the sandwich is a refreshing Caesar Salad. This salad is crunchy and delicious on a hot summer day. It is easy and quick to put together, which makes it perfect for your next barbecue.
Ingredients & Materials:
- romaine lettuce
- croutons
- parmesan cheese
- favorite store-bought caesar dressing
Directions:
Combine romaine lettuce, croutons, and cheese in a large wooden bowl.
- Use two large forks to mix the salad with the Caesar dressing and serve.

The Famous Cookie (Gluten Free!)
Every barbecue has a dessert of some kind. The dessert we will be making today will be cookies! The famous cookie. The recipe that we are going to be making is also gluten-free. You also need some King Arthur’s Ingredients
Ingredients & Materials:
- large bowl
- 16 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons of gluten-free vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of table salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 ⅓ cup of King Arthur Gluten Free All Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- OPTIONAL: 1 ½ cups of chopped nuts
- OPTIONAL: 2 cups of chocolate chips
Directions:
- Beat the butter, sugars, vanilla extract, and salt till it becomes fluffy
- Beat in the eggs one by one, be sure to scrape the bottom and the sides of the bowl in the middle to make sure all the ingredients you mixed are combined well.
- whisk the flour, baking powder, and, baking soda together
- Beat the dry ingredients into the butter mixture then start to blend in the chocolate chips and nuts also optional into a bowl scrape the sides and the bottom of the bowl to make sure that everything is blended well
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate it for for 1 hour or up to 2 days
- Then preheat the oven to 350° f lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper
- Scoop the teaspoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets or parchment paper a tablespoon cookie scoop works well also as an alternative. leave space between the cookies so they can spread out in the oven
- Bake the cookies for 9 to 11 minutes until they look golden brown(Optional stick a toothpick in it and if it is no not too battery then it is time to take it out)
- Remove them from the oven and let them rest on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to the racks to cool completely or allow them to cool right on the baking sheets
