Bored of FORTNITE or Roblox? Are you looking for jumpscares and not something from the Backrooms? Then try the one and only Five Nights at Freddy’s! Five Nights at Freddys is commonly referred to as FNAF and is a horror game inspired by Chuck ’E’ Cheese. It’s rated for preteens but ask your parents if you’re a bit jumpy.
Imagine this: you just got a job at an animatronic pizza place working as a security guard. You walk into your office, with cameras, an old fan and a man on the phone telling you what you need to do. But suddenly, the last thing he tells you gets you nervous. “The animatronics can get a little quirky at night.” Quirky? What does he mean? Just then you see something on the monitors. One of the animatronics is gone. What’s happening? Will you make it out to see the sun? You’ll only find out if you play. You play as a security guard, and on these five nights you see some really weird things happening. The man on the phone is known as Phone Guy. He’s the one telling you your job and introducing you to animatronics. Let’s get into that!
There are four animatronics, Freddy Fazbear, Chica the Chicken, Bonnie the bunny, and Foxy the Pirate Fox. The restaurant where the player works is named Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza and was founded by the two partners, Henry Emily and William Afton. The object of the game is to survive from 12 AM to 6 AM five nights in a row without getting caught by the animatronics. Survival is its own reward, and then you live to work another shift, even though you’re getting paid minimum wage. If you do get caught, the animatronics grind you up with their endoskeletons.
So, if you’re looking for something other than your typical shooting game and Roblox obbies, then play Five Nights at Freddy’s. FNAF is exciting with a sinister backstory. It keeps your heart racing with its jump scares. Just make sure you finish your homework before you get sucked in!
