Just speaking about FMS, I bet all of you remember the slime craze and the infamous fidget spinners!  Looking back at more recent events of this school year, we had the Haunted Hallway, the Color Run, and the first FMS Falcon Press edition!  Let’s not forget that the Boys Soccer Team won the County Championships!

On a bigger scale, here’s a list of the most important events of 2017, starting at the beginning:

  • Donald J. Trump was sworn in as President of The United States on January 20th.
  • Britain left the European Union.
  • A man was removed from a United Airlines flight for refusing to give up his seat.
  • In May, a terrorist attack in Manchester at an Ariana Grande concert left 22 people dead.
  • North Korea creates the computer virus WannaCry that attacks about 150 countries.
  • The solar eclipse happened in August.
  • The Nobel Peace Prize goes to ICAN, the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons.
  • Hurricane after Hurricane after Hurricane (Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria).
